Studying Abroad

As part of the bachelor’s and master’s degree programs, study abroad opportunities at foreign universities are available. Studying abroad not only offers the chance to improve foreign language skills, but also to get to know a new country and different university and academic cultures. A study abroad program typically lasts between three and twelve months. You should plan on one to one and a half years for preparation and the application process.

Every November, the German Department holds an information session on studying abroad. The date will be announced on our website under Save the date  as well as via posted notices. If you are considering applying, you should not miss this event.

Detailed information on all aspects of studying abroad, as well as on financing (scholarships, AuslandsBAföG, etc.)
